BOTOX AND FILLERS
Botox
Botox injections may be used to reduce some of the wrinkles caused by overactive muscles. These injections are particularly useful for crow’s feet/smile lines by the eyes, the forehead and the frown lines located between the brow. The Botox injections are made with an extra small needle in our office which most other places do not use. There can be a slight chance of bruising after the injections in a very small percentage of patients who are taking aspirin. The Botox may last from three to four months for most patients.
Fillers
If the lines on your face are making you look and feel old, fillers may help make you look younger and rejuvenated. As you get older, the effectiveness of your skin’s natural collagen decreases, causing lines and wrinkles to form around the eyes, lips, forehead, between the brow, nasolabial folds and around the corner of the mouth. Fillers can replenish your own tired collagen resulting in firmer tighter skin and less lines. Fillers can also help to eliminate or reduce scarring from acne and other conditions. Fillers are a non-surgical procedure that is performed by Dr. Wolf and not a tech as in other locations. Although you will see immediate results, several treatments may be necessary, depending on your age and the condition of your skin.
Juvederm Ultra $450 per syringe may last 1 year to 15 months.
Juverderm Ultra Plus $500 per syringe may last 1 year to 15 months and is thicker and is best for filling deeper lines.
BOTOX
What is BOTOX Cosmetic?
BOTOX Cosmetic is the first and only FDA-approved product to temporarily improve both moderate to severe frown lines between the brows and crow´s feet lines around the sides of the eyes.
How does BOTOX® Cosmetic Works?
BOTOX® Cosmetic targets one of the underlying causes of frown lines and crow´s feet—the repeated muscle contractions from frowning and squinting over the years. Your doctor will inject these muscles with BOTOX® Cosmetic to temporarily reduce muscle activity. You´ll begin to notice a visible smoothing of these lines.
How is BOTOX® Cosmetic (onabotulinumtoxinA) administered?
To temporarily improve moderate to severe crow´s feet, your doctor will inject BOTOX® Cosmetic into the muscle surrounding the sides of your eyes—called the orbicularis oculi.
For temporary improvement of moderate to severe frown lines, BOTOX® Cosmetic is injected into 2 muscles—the corrugator and procerus muscles.
BOTOX® Cosmetic treatment is a quick, 10 minute procedure that requires no downtime or recovery—it´s often called a lunchtime procedure.

FILLERS
YOUR SKIN CHANGES OVER TIME
As you age, your skin loses elasticity and moisture. This normal aging process, plus environmental factors like sun exposure, cause different facial lines to form, including moderate to severe wrinkles and folds.
There are several different types of facial lines that form around your nose and mouth. These include the parentheses lines, vertical lip lines, corner lines, and marionette lines. As you age, the lines may become more noticeable.
How Fillers Work
– Is a nonsurgical treatment
– Contains a modified hyaluronic acid, derived from a naturally occuring sugar found in the human body
— Is gently injected by your healthcare professional under the skin using a fine needle
Contains a common anesthetic called lidocaine to reduce discomfort.
